Who?
Nazeem is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, peace ambassador and founding director of Dole Ndawi NGO in the Gambia. I met him whilst he was visiting Liverpool where he has been performing and working to promote how music can inspire positive change in communities. Nazeem actually visited my exhibition at Liverpool Arts Bar and having heard him perform I was keen to capture him on camera. We arranged a shoot right before the exhibition opened in Nantwich and exclusive portraits of Nazeem will be revealed for the first time in Birmingham at The Old Print Works.

The Shoot
We met at the pier head in Liverpool but as it was a particularly cold day to be on the waterfront I took Nazeem for a walk around the streets set back from the icy River Mersey breeze.
